This was true 15 years ago, when "tested to LM-80" was a genuine differentiator. Today, most reputable suppliers can produce the report; the real question is what the numbers show. A supplier that hesitates to share QA records usually has a reason. The good ones send you a secured folder before you finish your first email.

This is the document you hand to a supplier so everyone's on the same page. For commercial lighting, I treat these sections as non-negotiable:
